Last Thursday evening members of the Chabad Lubavitch of Alexandria-Arlington gathered at the skating rink at Pentagon Row in Arlington for the lighting of a menorah carved from ice. Arlington County Board Supervisor Paul Ferguson joined Rabbi Mordecai Newman in the lighting of the candles. On Sunday night the Chabad gathered at J&J Oriental Rug Gallery in Old Town Alexandria and light another menorah.
